Macnabs ranks among top fundraisers for Will Aid
Macnabs has drafted hundreds of wills for clients and raised over £10,000 for charity this year after taking part in a will-writing campaign where lawyers generously give up their time for free to write wills for local people, in exchange for a donation to the charity.
The Perthshire firm has taken part in the annual Will Aid scheme for nine years now and raised an impressive total of £54,361 to date. This year the firm raised £9,395 for Will Aid making it the fourth highest donating firm in Scotland.
Director Alan Roughead said: “With Will Aid, everyone benefits. Clients get a professionally drawn-up will and peace of mind, while charities such as the British Red Cross, NSPCC and Age UK receive much-needed donations for their vital work.
“At Macnabs, our corporate social responsibility programme is an important part of who we are. We have a strong track record of supporting our local communities and helping causes that are close to people’s hearts and it is great to have been involved in Will Aid again – for the 9th year! – and to be able to give something back has been wonderful.”
