MacRoberts appointed to act for the Scottish government

MacRoberts has successfully bid to provide external legal services required by Scottish ministers, as well as by a range of departments, agencies and other parts of the UK government.

The services MacRoberts will provide relate to general contract, commercial and corporate matters. This tender was won under the Central Government Legal Services Framework.

The contract duration is for two years, commencing in July 2016, with an option to extend for two further 12 month periods subject to satisfactory performance.

MacRoberts’s team advising Scottish government will be led by partner Duncan Osler.

Mr Osler said: “We are delighted to have bid successfully to provide legal services in relation to corporate, commercial and contract matters. We have been providing such services to Scottish Ministers and parts of the UK Government under a previous appointment and we look forward to building on our experience and expertise in the years to come.”
