MacRoberts commercial team highly commended at the 2016 British Legal Awards

MacRoberts has been commended at the annual British Legal Awards, fighting off competition from national heavyweights Herbert Smith Freehills, Olswang, Simmons and Simmons & Ward Hadaway to be awarded the highly commended title, while Eversheds took the top prize for “commercial team of the year”.
The nomination follows a strong financial year for the firm with increased turnover, profits and headcount. Draft accounts in the year-end to April 2016, show turnover up by 10 per cent to £19.78 million, profits climbing 12 per cent to £6.9m and the firm’s headcount increasing by 12 per cent across its three offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee.
Its financial results saw the firm come first in Business Insider’s 300SME list this year – a survey which celebrates the country’s best performing small to medium-sized businesses.
