MacRoberts partner charts dramatic turnaround of family business in blog series
In the first of a series of blogs for The Scotsman, MacRoberts’ partner Michael Kelly charts the collapse of his father’s business just before the financial crisis and how he and his brothers helped it emerge from this “dark period” with a “brutally challenging” first three years in which it turned over less than £700,000 and made losses of £300,000.
This year, the business will generate revenues of more than £10 million.
