MacRoberts strengthens construction team
MacRoberts has promoted one new partner internally and attracted one new partner externally to further strengthen its construction group.
David Wilson (pictured), who has been with MacRoberts for 16 years, was previously a director within the construction group. He has extensive expertise in advising clients in all types of construction disputes, and has experience of pursuing and defending parties in construction disputes in the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session and in arbitration and adjudication. Mr Wilson will be based in Glasgow, but will also work across the firm’s other offices in Edinburgh and Dundee.
Gavin Thomson, who is joining MacRoberts from Pinsent Masons, qualified as a solicitor in 2001, and spent 14 years at MacRoberts rising to the position of senior associate. Gavin has extensive experience and expertise in construction and engineering disputes of all kinds. He is accredited as a specialist in construction law by the Law Society of Scotland. He will be based in Edinburgh, but will also work across the firm’s other offices in Glasgow and Dundee.
