MBM partner Andrew Linehan appointed vice-president of SAAVA
Murray Beith Murray partner and head of rural property Andrew Linehan has been appointed as vice-president of the Scottish Agricultural Arbiters and Valuers Association (SAAVA).
SAAVA provides advice to valuers, arbiters, auctioneers, surveyors, solicitors, accountants and others having professional or personal interests in rural valuation work, and promotes uniformity of practice in arbitration procedure and associated valuation work.
Mr Linehan continues to act as legal advisor to SAAVA and is the first lawyer in Scotland to pass the related CAAV (Central Association of Agricultural Valuers) examination and qualify for Fellowship of CAAV. He is also accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in agricultural law.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Linehan said: “I am enormously proud of my recent appointment with SAAVA and I have great respect for their aims. Together, with my CAAV fellowship we are aligned in our commitment to best practice and the highest standards for clients.”
