In his new position, he will continue to focus on all aspects of corporate law with a specialism in M&A.

Mr Cox has experience of working on numerous high-profile corporate deals and has also recently acted for a number of BTO’s clients in the charities sector.

He said: “I am pleased to be joining the partnership at what feels like an exciting time. My primary aims will be to help shape BTO’s corporate offering in Edinburgh, to support existing and new clients and to assist in driving the firm’s strategy for growth.”
