Mike Dailly joins Evening Times as a columnist
Glasgow lawyer Mike Dailly has joined the Evening Times as a columnist.
The solicitor advocate, who campaigns for social justice and community rights, said it was the “the best community paper ever”.
All of the income from the column will be going to Glasgow SW Foodbank.
Mr Dailly said: “I’m proud to be joining the Evening Times as a weekly columnist. Glasgow is the greatest city in the world and this is the best community newspaper ever.
“I will endeavour to represent all voices from across our city. My focus will be on solutions.”
His first column is about the overcharging of disabled Scots by millions of pounds each year.
Mr Dailly is the principal of Govan Law Centre, an independent, community-controlled free legal resource based in Glasgow.
Evening Times editor Callum Baird said: “We’re so pleased to be welcoming Mike to the paper. His voice will help us fight to end injustices in Glasgow.”
