Mike Dailly reappointed to Scottish Housing Regulator board
Minister for local government and housing, Kevin Stewart, has announced the reappointment of Mike Dailly to the Scottish Housing Regulator board.
Established in April 2011 under the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010, the Scottish Housing Regulator is the independent regulator of registered social landlords and local authority housing services in Scotland.
Mr Dailly is a campaigner for social justice and believes good quality social housing is at the heart of Scotland’s justice system. He is a solicitor advocate with over 20 years’ experience of representing tenants and homeless people. He has significant regulatory experience as a member of the European Banking Authority’s expert group and has worked at the Financial Conduct Authority. Mr Dailly is the former chair of the UK Valuation Commission Residential Cross-Sector Group.
His current term started in March 2013 and will finish in February 2017 with his new term commencing in March 2017 until February 2021.
