Monday’s Conveyancing Conference – final places available for ‘The Complete Conveyancer’
The skills and knowledge required to be ‘The Complete Conveyancer’ will be the focus of CLT Scotland’s Conveyancing Conference taking place exclusively in-person on Monday 6 March at the Hilton Glasgow.
Sponsored by First Scottish, the conference will be chaired by Professor Kenneth Ross of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park Authority and will include topics ranging from positive prescription, short-term lets, current property tax issues and ordering a Plans Report to the Scottish Law Commission’s tenement compulsory owners’ association project, the operation of the Register of Community Interests and risk management for conveyancers.
The speaking panel will include Professor Roddy Paisley of the University of Aberdeen, Nikki Duke and Lynne Johnstone from Registers of Scotland, First Scottish’s Derek Hand, Professor Frankie McCarthy from the University of Glasgow, Anderson Strathern’s Alasdair Johnstone, Stephen McGowan of TLT LLP and Lockton’s Kenneth Law.
