Morag McEwan joins Westwater Advocates
Morag McEwan has joined Westwater Advocate, having called to the bar.
Specialising in family law and child law, she is experienced in litigation arising from the breakdown of relationships and in cases involving high net worth individuals and complex assets including partnerships, trusts and companies.
In child law she has experience in disputes involving children, including residence and contact actions.
Her devilmaster, Rachel Shewan, said: “Morag’s strong academic background has shone through during her period of devilling, and she has already taken on writing and research roles in the area of family law. She has proved to be personable and empathetic in her interactions with clients.
“These skills, combined with her committed, knowledgeable and enthusiastic approach, leaves me in no doubt that she will thrive in her career as an advocate and will be a real asset to the Westwater stable.”

Ms McEwan also has experience in trust law, taxation and property law and she is an undergraduate course tutor at the University of Edinburgh in family law (ordinary), contract law & unjustified enrichment, and succession & trusts.
