Morisons’ expansion continues with new appointments
Morisons is continuing its expansion with a number of new appointments and promotions in key areas of the business.
The firm’s real estate team has been strengthened with the promotion of Hayley Wilson, who has been with the firm for three years, to the role of associate. A member of Women in Property, she specialises in all aspects of commercial property in Scotland.
Joining her is Kirsty Findlater who has been appointed a solicitor with the team. Ms Findlater, who served her traineeship with the firm, joins from First Title Insurance plc. The new moves follow on the recent appointment of Andrew Warren as partner to the real estate team in Glasgow.
With five years’ experience of working within the procurator fiscal’s office in Edinburgh, Kirsty Anderson joins the personal injuries team as a solicitor. Ms Anderson has extensive court experience will greatly enhance the team’s work in litigation claims.
The firm has also expanded its disputes team within Edinburgh with the appointment of Tom Hempleman as a solicitor. Following his traineeship at Morton Fraser, Tom joined Anderson Strathern working within their commercial real estate team before moving to Morisons. A Law Society Mentor, he is a judge of the Donald Dewar Debating Tournament.
Leanne Hammell joins the private client team as a solicitor, following completion of her traineeship with McClure Solicitors. She has a specialist interest in estate and inheritance tax planning and will divide her time between both the Glasgow and Edinburgh offices.
