Morton Fraser appointed to new Scottish government legal panel
Morton Fraser has been appointed to the four-year framework panel to provide legal services to the Scottish government.
Morton Fraser was appointed to each of the five lots which they tendered for: contract, commercial & corporate; debt recovery; litigation, reparation, employment & inquiries; property & related matters; and one stop shop.
The firm has been providing legal services to the Scottish government since their first tendering exercise in 2003.
The new framework represents a significant change from the previous panels. In addition to the Scottish Government Legal Directorate, now more than 100 public bodies will be able to access the framework to procure their legal services.
Chris Harte , chief executive of Morton Fraser said: “I am delighted that we have been successful in this tender. Given the high level of competition, being appointed to the framework panel is a great achievement and we are looking forward to continuing to work in collaboration with the Scottish Government Legal Directorate, as well as other framework public bodies over the term of the four-year agreement.”
“This appointment is evidence of our continued growth. Our clients continue to say that they value our commitment to full transparency and clarity in billing arrangements and I’m convinced this approach will continue to allow us to thrive in the Scottish legal market.”
