Mr Glover joins Morton Fraser on 11 December from global research and consulting organisation, Wood Mackenzie, where he was global head of talent and organisational development.
He has also previously worked for Edinburgh City Council, leading its HR and organisational development teams. He brings a wealth of commercial understanding from other roles with companies including G E Oil and Gas and AEGON UK.
Chris Harte, chief executive of Morton Fraser, said: “Martin is someone who can help us strengthen our approach to people development across the whole business. He has an impressive pedigree in the design and implementation of learning and development strategies across a wide range of organisations.
“He’ll bring a fresh perspective to what is a key role for the firm and one that is integral to our future success.”
Mr Glover added: “Morton Fraser is a firm with a real sense of purpose about its own direction and future.
“It also understands that it can best serve its clients through developing its people and it is those two elements which drew me to the role. I believe I can help continue the momentum the firm has created in recent years and I am excited about the challenges ahead.”
