Neil Kennedy announced as new managing partner at MacRoberts
MacRoberts has announced that corporate partner, Neil Kennedy will succeed John Macmillan as managing partner from 1st May 2018.
The Aberdeen University graduate has been with MacRoberts for 19 years and a partner for 10 of those. He is an expert in corporate and commercial law and is a lead adviser to a number of well-known SME businesses in Scotland.
Mr Macmillan steps down from the role after his second term as managing partner and will continue as an employment partner for the firm.
Mr Kennedy said: “I am really delighted to have the opportunity to serve the firm as managing partner.
“Anyone who has met me knows that I am really passionate about MacRoberts and the people who make it the firm it is.
“We have achieved great success under John Macmillan’s expert watch and we will continue to achieve this through investment, underpinned by exceptional talent and service.”
Mr Macmillan said: “Neil Kennedy will be a very fine successor. He has all the right attitude, client and staff focus and MacRoberts’ ethos.

Having been in the MP role for more than eleven of the last twenty years and all of the last three and half, I was sure it was time to hand the role on to a more dynamic and focused individual.”
