Ness Gallagher Solicitors raises over £2,300 for St Andrew’s Hospice
Lanarkshire-based Ness Gallagher Solicitors has raised an impressive £2,340 for St Andrew’s Hospice following its Make a Will Month charity campaign.
Throughout March, the firm encouraged clients to donate to St Andrew’s Hospice in lieu of paying a fee for basic will services. The funds raised will help the charity in its mission of providing palliative care and support to those facing life-limiting illnesses.
Established in 1979, and with offices in Wishaw, Ness Gallagher is a full-service law firm advising businesses and individuals throughout Lanarkshire, whilst also actively engaging in philanthropic endeavours to strengthen the local community.
Director Louise Gillies said: “St Andrew’s Hospice holds a special place in our hearts and the hearts of countless individuals in our community, and we are humbled and delighted by the generosity shown by our clients during the Make a Will Month.
“By collaborating with St Andrew’s Hospice, we aimed to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals facing life-limiting illnesses, and our clients’ contributions have far exceeded our expectations.
“At the same time, we wanted to highlight how important it is for everyone to have an up-to-date-Will. We are immensely proud of our team and our clients for their compassion and commitment to making a difference in our community.”
Lorna McCafferty, trusts, legacy and individual giving manager at St Andrew’s Hospice, said: “On behalf of the patients and families that St Andrew’s Hospice (Lanarkshire) help to care for and support, I would like to thank the team at Ness Gallagher for supporting our Make a Will Month campaign each year.
“Every penny raised from their client donations goes towards providing this support. Thank you.”
