Ness Gallagher, a Lanarkshire law firm, is once again taking part in St Andrew’s Hospice Make A Will Month, running throughout March.
For the 12th consecutive year, the firm will waive its usual fees for writing basic wills, instead collecting donations to support the work of St Andrew’s Hospice in Lanarkshire.
This initiative gives people the opportunity to get their affairs in order while also contributing to a vital local cause. The suggested donation is £120 for a basic single will or £200 for a pair of basic mirror wills, with all proceeds going directly to the hospice.
Edward McCarron, director at Ness Gallagher Solicitors, said: “Having a will in place is one of the most important things you can do to protect your loved ones and ensure your wishes are carried out. Many people put it off, but Make A Will Month is the perfect time to take action, while also giving back to a cause that provides crucial care in our community. We’re proud to support St Andrew’s Hospice, not just through this initiative, but also as their trusted legal advisors.”
Lorna McCafferty, trusts, legacy, and individual giving manager at St Andrew’s Hospice, added: “We are incredibly grateful to Ness Gallagher for their continued support over the past 12 years. Their generosity and dedication help us to provide essential care to those who need it most. Every donation made through Make A Will Month directly benefits our patients and their families.”
