New appointment and paralegal success for Patience & Buchan
Patience and Buchan has announced the appointments of an assistant solicitor, Kirsty Wilson (pictured on left), and newly qualified paralegal Jaclyn Bolt.
Ms Wilson joins the practice to specialise in family law, having completed her traineeship in a well respected firm in Inverness.
She said: “I am delighted to be joining Patience and Buchan. The firm has an excellent reputation for providing specialist family law advice.”
Since joining Patience & Buchan in 2010, Ms Bolt has proved herself to be a capable legal secretary specialising in family and child law, primarily supporting partner Ashley Simpson.
Ms Bolt said: “Students undertaking the paralegal qualification are given 18 months to complete the course. However, I managed to achieve the qualification in six months as well as continuing to work for Patience & Buchan. The firm has been hugely supportive in helping me achieve my goals to date.”
Lorna Buchan added: “Kirsty’s appointment and Jaclyn’s graduation to paralegal are testament to our commitment at Patience & Buchan to improving the service provided to clients and to developing our team’s careers.”
