New appointments at Law At Work
Employment law, HR and health & safety specialists, Law At Work (LAW), has bolstered its team ahead of an effort to expand the business into England.
Leading the charge will be newly appointed business development director, Miriam Byrne who joins from rival Ellis Whittam Limited where she was a regional business director.
Ms Byrne brings a wealth of experience from within the employment law, HR and health & safety sector to the steadily growing business.
She is being supported by two new business development executives. Neil Small will provide support in the firm’s Edinburgh office, while Nicky Krissa, will join Ms Byrne in the Glasgow office.
A further new appointment sees Angela McCracken join the Edinburgh office’s team of employment lawyers.
A qualified solicitor, she joins from Balfour+Manson LLP where she has been providing strategic employment law advice to employers for the past three years.
The employment law team has retained newly qualified lawyer Anita Mulholland, who has successfully completed her two year traineeship with the firm.
The business has also placed two further trainees into their Glasgow team: Paman Singh and Kirstie Beattie.
The firm’s health & safety team has also been strengthened with the appointment of Steven McCallum as health & safety manager.
Moving from RBS Mentor, he brings a decade of experience to the Glasgow team.
Steven Smith has been promoted to operations manager with a key role in leading client care within LAW as well as providing support to the senior team
