New book on licensing law to be launched this month

Licensing lawyer Stephen McGowan will discuss his new book on the complex and ever-changing world of alcohol licensing in Scotland in a virtual launch event later this month.
Mr McGowan, partner and head of licensing in Scotland at TLT, discussed his interest in licensing law with Scottish Legal News earlier this week as part of our Lawyer of the Month feature.
He will be joined by Laura Williamson, commissioning editor at Edinburgh University Press, via Zoom on 15 September 2021 to celebrate the publication of his latest book.
Aimed at licensing practitioners, solicitors, local authority and police officers, as well as business owners, McGowan on Alcohol Licensing Law in Scotland draws upon Mr McGowan’s real life experience and uses case studies to examine how complex policies are put into practice.
