New partners at Keoghs in Glasgow
Keoghs is continuing its expansion in Scotland with the appointment of two new partners in the motor and disease teams at its Glasgow offices.
Laurie Traynor and Zoe Strong, previously from Ince & Co and Weightmans respectively, will join Keoghs Scotland.
Ms Traynor brings with her over 22 years’ experience in defence of large and complex employer and public liability and motor claims alongside criminal expertise.
She said: “As well as the impressive client list at Keoghs, the market-leading team here played a large part in my decision to join. I am delighted to strengthen both the large loss and HSE/ motor prosecution defence offerings in Scotland. I look forward to using my expertise to assist Keoghs clients wherever I can.”
With over 20 years of experience in dealing with industrial disease claims in both England and Scotland, Ms Strong will head up Keoghs Scottish disease team.
She said: “I’m really excited to be joining the team in Glasgow and for the opportunity to build on the solid foundations Keoghs already have. There is fantastic potential to work together with our new and existing clients and to promote significant growth in the disease team. Keoghs are highly motivated towards ensuring that we really deliver for our clients and I am committed to maintaining those high service levels as I drive the disease team forward”.
Douglas Cowan, lead partner, Keoghs Scotland said: “I’m delighted to welcome both Laurie and Zoe to their new roles, bringing their own specialist expertise for our clients. This latest recruitment drive is proof our ambitious expansion in Scotland is proving successful and we look forward to seeing what 2024 brings.”
