New SCTS chief executive Malcolm Graham takes up post
Malcolm Graham has taken up his post as the new SCTS chief executive, taking over from Eric McQueen.
Mr Graham said: “I am delighted to be joining SCTS as chief executive and look forward to leading and supporting the excellent work undertaken daily in supporting justice.
“I have been extremely impressed with the passion and professionalism I have already witnessed and I am confident the organisation can build its contribution from very strong foundations in the years ahead.”
He added: “I would like to pay tribute to Eric McQueen who has led the organisation so successfully since becoming chief executive over 11 years ago. I wish Eric well in his well-earned retirement and thank him for his dedicated public service.
“SCTS has a clear strategic direction and ambition in a constantly evolving justice system, where demands for services are increasing.
“I am committed to the enduring need for justice partners to work together to improve the experience of those who need to use the justice system and those who work within it. I will be keen to build on the strong partnerships that have been forged to date.”
