On Liberty early bird ends this week

The early bird offer for Scottish Legal Training’s event “Shami Chakrabarti On Liberty” will end after August 7.

Bookings received on or before August 7 will attract the advanced offer price of £20 plus VAT.

Shami Chakrabarti will discuss themes from her book On Liberty in which she recounts, among other things, her move from the Home Office, which she affectionately refers to as “Mordor”, to campaign group Liberty on September 10 2001 – a day before the tragic events in the US that would usher in a new era in which the relationship between the individual and the state was fundamentally changed.

The event will qualify for 1 hour CPD.
