One Scots role among Shoosmiths redundancies
Shoosmiths has cut 43 roles, including one in Scotland, after finding more efficient ways of working across the business during lockdown.
The Scottish post was a business support role.
The firm celebrated strong results in July, reporting an 11 per cent increase in net profits.
A spokesperson for the firm said: “In October, Shoosmiths announced restructuring proposals as a result of identifying more efficient ways of working during the coronavirus pandemic. In total, 52.5 posts were placed at risk.
“The 30-day consultation period concluded in November and as a result 43 roles have been made redundant.”
