Having spent time in the City with Dentons and Nabarro Nathanson, Mr Grieve is now working with Anderson Strathern’s commercial real estate and English property teams around growth sectors in development including build to rent (BTR), healthcare and retirement living and hotel and leisure.

He said: “London and the South East remain dominant as an investment destination in the UK and I can see great opportunity for the firm to further establish its presence and relationships there, as well as across the rest of the UK.

“Anderson Strathern already has an excellent team in place and I believe there is significant potential for an expert and agile team to make real impact in the market.

“In terms of industry themes as we approach the end of 2017, Brexit, currency movement and transaction costs remain to the fore.”
