Ms Aylesbury is a senior civil servant who is the deputy director for marketing, insight, brand Scotland and Internal Communications in the Scottish government. 

Her work includes communications strategies that “help reduce inequalities and contribute to a safer, fairer and healthier Scotland”.

This reappointment will be for three years and will run from 1 March 2025 to 28 February 2028.
