Perth Sheriff Court wishes respected staff member a happy retirement
A court officer and popular staff member at Perth Sheriff Court has retired at the age of 65, the Perth Advertiser reports.
Colin Aldous began his 15-year career at the court in 2002 following a varied working life including six-and-a-half years with the RAF.
Mr Aldous has been prominent in showcasing the court’s history during its doors open day, delivering thoroughly researched tours of the building to visitors.
“Colin is very well respected by all his colleagues, sheriffs, solicitors, witness services, G4S security personnel and everyone else he came into contact with,” a colleague said.
“He is very hard-working and has such a wealth of knowledge.
They added: “He has been a true asset to the court service and all the Perth staff wish him a long and happy retirement.”
