Perthshire solicitors hold sellers’ day to boost housing market
Perthshire Solicitors Property Centre has announced a free event for people considering selling their home in 2015.
The company is hosting the Sellers’ Event in their Perth city centre base on Saturday 9 May, complementing an existing and growing portfolio of free events taking place in the centre on Saturday mornings.
PSPC manager Anne Begg said: “We have held a number of very successful events over the last few years, primarily aimed at first-time buyers or those seeking some financial assistance through the likes of the Help to Buy (Scotland) scheme.
“However, we thought it would make sense to hold an event aimed at those considering selling their homes, with two main strands – showcasing and explaining PSPC’s role in the process and offering a chance to meet all of the key experts under the one roof, from Surveyors to Independent Financial Advisors.
She added that PSPC’s experience in property law would relieve the potential “stresses and pitfalls of moving home” and help “make things as simple as possible” for prospective sellers.
PSPC claims to market around 70 per cent of Perthshire properties in all price brackets and earlier said sales statistics from the first quarter of the year were “promising”.
Anne Begg said: “With winter in the past, we’re seeing lots of evidence that countless people are ready to make a move.”
