Pinsent Masons associate wins East Renfrewshire for Tories
A Pinsent Masons associate is one of the new MPs entering Parliament for the Conservatives.
Paul Masterton, 31, won Renfrewshire East with 40 per cent of the vote.
On the party’s constituency page he wrote: “I am absolutely humbled by my election and wish to thank all in East Renfrewshire who put their faith in me.
“Whether you voted for me or not, I promise to be a Member of Parliament working hard to improving the lives of all in East Renfrewshire and the local community.”
A graduate of Dundee University, Mr Masterton began his career at McGrigors before moving onto Pinsents, where he specialised in pensions law.
