Pinsent Masons only law firm in Scotland ranked in Stonewall’s top 50

Pinsent Masons has been recognised as the only law firm in Scotland to be ranked in Stonewall’s top 50 employers for commitment to workplace diversity.

The international law firm was ranked in the top five of the most inclusive UK employers in the 2016 Stonewall Workplace Equality Index and was the highest ranking law firm.

Pinsent Masons was ranked second overall, behind Lloyds Banking Group, and is the only law firm operating in Scotland to feature in the UK’s top 50 organisations. It is the ninth year the firm has featured in the Index and the first time it has been ranked in Stonewall’s list of Global Diversity Champions.

David Isaac, head of the advanced manufacturing and technology sector and chair of the diversity steering group at the firm, said: “Pinsent Masons has worked hard to get into the top five of the Index and we are delighted to be the top ranking law firm. We were up against a lot of very tough competition so it’s an achievement that everyone in the firm should be exceedingly proud of.”
