Places available for solicitors at Lady Justice Arden talk
One of the most senior figures in the judiciary of England and Wales is to give a talk to members of the Faculty of Advocates about her role in liaising with courts across the world.
Lady Justice Arden, a former chair of the Law Commission of England and Wales and a Lady Justice of Appeal since 2000, holds the post of head of international judicial relations for England and Wales.
In the role, she is responsible for liaison with courts globally, and particularly with the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
Her talk to the Faculty is on Friday 27 October, at 5pm. Entry is free, and a number of tickets are available to solicitors who may wish to attend.
