Places are still available to hear the UK Judge of the General Court of the European Union, Ian Forrester QC, give a talk, “Of Sporrans, Fishing Nets and Judicial Review…”

An event to celebrate Judge Forrester’s recent appointment to the Luxembourg court is being hosted by a new group within the Faculty of Advocates,AGEUL (the Advocates Group on European Union Law).

It has brought together senior and junior counsel with a shared interest and expertise in EU law and has a dedicated website at http://ageul.scot

The group was delighted that Judge Forrester agreed to be the guest speaker at its official launch at 5pm on Friday, 19 February, in the Laigh Hall, Parliament House, Edinburgh.
