Police Scotland creates new senior civilian role
Police Scotland has created the most senior civilian role in its history in order to deliver a “sustainable operating model”.
David Page is to become the single force’s new director of corporate services, strategy and change and will earn £173,010 a year.
Mr Page was previously employed by the Royal Bank of Scotland and Standard Life.
Chief constable Phil Gormley said: “For the first time, and reporting directly to me as chief constable, policing will have someone with David’s skills and experience at the 0 New appointee will report to Chief Constable Phil Gormley most senior decision-making level.
“I firmly believe that this fresh approach will give us the right mix of insights to make the right decisions at the right time as we look to improve the quality of service we provide.”
