Potter Clarkson opens new office in Glasgow
European intellectual property firm Potter Clarkson has opened new offices in Glasgow.
Located in the heart of Glasgow city-centre on West Regent Street, the team will be headed up by partner Deborah Maxwell who has more than a decade of experience as a patent and design attorney and is recognised as a notable IP practitioner.
She will be supported by fellow patent attorneys Sara Holland and Veronika Brázdová, and litigation and licensing partner Dave Holt, all of whom have long-established client relationships in Scotland.
Ms Maxwell said: “Helping businesses to scale up is recognised as a key priority for the future prosperity of Scotland and that is our focus at Potter Clarkson, whether that is by working directly with ambitious start-ups and SMEs or supporting investors with IP due diligence.
“Glasgow has a rich history of innovation and entrepreneurialism, which continues today with widespread investment in seriously cutting-edge areas of technology. We can bring our expertise in all areas of intellectual property, from patents and trade marks to design and trade secrets, as well as our specialist sector knowledge, to ensure these companies with high growth potential become a long-term commercial success.”
