Private client lawyer Elizabeth Wilson accredited by STEP
Macleod & MacCallum solicitor Elizabeth Wilson has been accredited as a trust and estate practitioner by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
STEP is a global organisation whose main aim is to help families plan for their future, with its membership including solicitors, trustees, financial planners, and other professionals who assist with future planning.
Ms Wilson, a solicitor in the Inverness-based firm’s private client team, said: “I am delighted to have qualified as a member of STEP which is an internationally recognised organisation. It has taken a lot of hard work and study to achieve their criteria, but this has helped developed the services which I can offer to my clients locally.
“In addition, as STEP is global organisation, I am now part of a network of over 21,000 private client professionals throughout the world who can assist or provide recommendations if needed.”
Alison Martin, chief executive of Macleod and MacCallum, said: “We are really pleased for Elizabeth, and achieving membership of STEP is a well-deserved reward for her efforts, and a recognition of the quality of service she provides to her clients.”
Peter Mason, managing director, added: “STEP is internationally recognised as the gold standard for Private Client practitioners, and it is great news to see Elizabeth joining this group. Every member has proven qualifications and experience allowing clients to have confidence in the advice they are given.
