QCs and others to debate limitations on cross-examination of vulnerable witnesses

Two top advocates will help ensure all angles are covered in a debate about vulnerable witnesses.

Derek Ogg QC and Thomas Ross QC are among the speakers at the Dean’s Debate, Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow, which will examine the limitation of powers to cross-examine vulnerable witnesses.

Others taking part will be Sandy Brindley, of Rape Crisis Scotland, and Nick Hobbs, from the office of the Children and Young People’s Commissioner Scotland.
