Raft of appointments at Thorntons

Thorntons has announced 22 new promotions across its Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth, Inverness and St Andrews operations following a year of exceptional growth.

The firm, which opened a new office in Glasgow a year ago and its first permanent office in Inverness in April of this year, now employs more than 500 people in Scotland, including 70 partners across its 14 offices.

Neil McWilliam recently promoted legal director in Dundee said: “I am delighted to accept the role of legal director in this round of promotions with Thorntons - a firm which I joined in 2016 as a solicitor and that has continuously supported me in achieving this position.
