RCCW Inverurie partner Elizabeth Merson retires
Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace has announced the retirement of Elizabeth Merson, partner and branch principal at the firm’s Inverurie office.
Ms Merson, who has had a connection with the firm spanning more than 40 years, started her career with George Raeburn in 1975 working from the firm’s Ellon office. Over the years, she has had the privilege of working in all of the firm’s branch offices.
Since 2010, she has been branch principal at the firm’s Inverurie office where she has used her many years’ experience in the sale and purchase of residential property to assist those looking to settle in or move to Inverurie and the surrounding area.
Her extensive knowledge of the locality and its property market has made her an invaluable and respected head of the firm’s Inverurie team.
Reflecting on her time with the firm, she said: “I have had the most enjoyable career with Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace. I have worked with some amazing teams of people and would like to thank them and my clients for all their support over the years.”
Ms Merson, who leaves the firm on 31May, now hands over the reins to her daughter Jane Merson and colleague Ian Angus, both qualified solicitors.
Keith Allan, the firm’s managing partner, said: “We are all very grateful to Elizabeth for her dedication and loyalty to the firm and to our Partners, employees and clients alike.
“Thanks to her excellent stewardship of our local office in Inverurie over the years, our clients can be assured that the excellent service provided by Elizabeth and her team will continue. It has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside such a popular and caring person as Elizabeth and she will be greatly missed.”
