Sally Nash joins Gilson Gray’s family law team
Gilson Gray has expanded its family team with the appointment of Sally Nash.
Ms Nash, who has 13 years’ experience, began her legal career at Maclay Murray & Spens before qualifying with Turcan Connell where she has been since 2004.
Ms Nash joins Philippa Cunniff – the firm’s head of family law and a former colleague at Turcan Connell – in building the core of the firm’s latest division.
Joining as a senior associate, Ms Nash said: “I am delighted to be coming on board with Gilson Gray.
“This young firm has already achieved a phenomenal amount in a short time period. Gilson Gray’s ambition and its ethos, both in terms of quality of service and culture, are aspects I am incredibly excited to be involved with.”
“I’m particularly looking forward to rekindling the excellent working relationship Philippa and I have previously enjoyed, and being part of, and further building, a top family law offering at Gilson Gray.”
Ms Cunniff said: “Having moved to Gilson Gray with the specific remit of building the best family law team in Scotland, I’m delighted to have Sally on board to assist in achieving that goal.
“To attract someone of Sally’s calibre to the firm at the outset of establishing our family law practice says a lot about our ability to attract the best talent in the market.”
Glen Gilson, managing partner at Gilson Gray, added: “Our ambition is to be the best law firm in Scotland.
“In Sally we have a talent that any firm would be delighted to call part of their team. Her appointment demonstrates our commitment to providing market leading capabilities.”
