Scottish Legal News subscribers now exceed 11,000
The total number of subscribers to Scottish Legal News has broken through the 11,000 mark.
Ten new subscribers took yesterday’s total to 11,023 with 30,000 regular users of the www.scottishlegal.com website and 6,900 Twitter followers.
The landmark was reached almost eight years after SLN was launched in June 2008 and it was welcomed by Scottish Legal News chairperson, advocate Peter Grant-Hutchison.
He said: “This is a very welcome breakthrough and a measure of success of the daily news service. But equally, the very positive feedback we receive from readers is another indicator that SLN has become a firm part of daily business life for Scotland’s legal community.”
SLN editor Graham Ogilvy added: “These figures are all the more impressive because our subscriber list is ‘active’ with redundant email addresses automatically removed, unlike magazines whose distribution figures include the vast percentage of editions which are never removed from their polythene packets.
“I would like to thank Kapil and the SLN team for all of their efforts and we look forward to continuing to build SLN in the years ahead.”
