Scottish Legal Training supports Dundee Faculty Dinner
Over 160 tickets have already been sold for this Friday’s annual dinner dance of the Dundee Faculty of Procurators and Solicitors.
Faculty secretary Amanda Wilson reports a brisk demand for tickets for the event, which is sponsored by Scottish Legal News.
She said: “This promises to be another terrific night following on the success of last year’s event. There are still some tickets available, however, and people should reserve their places now to avoid disappointment.”
Scottish Legal Training is supporting the event by offering a raffle prize of a place at its prestigious Criminal Law Masterclass on Saturday October 3 which counts for 5 hours CPD and features Donald Findlay QC, Alex Prentice QC, Frances McMenamin QC, Ian Duguid QC and advocate John Keenan.
SLT course director, advocate Niall McCluskey, said: “We are pleased to support the Dundee Faculty by contributing a place at our next Masterclass and wish our colleagues in Dundee well for a great night.”
The Faculty dinner begins at 7.30pm and will be held at the Invercarse Hotel. The speaker is former Scottish Rugby coach Frank Hadden and a dance will follow the dinner.
Tickets are available at £35 each from Amanda – email: awilson@thorntons-law.co.uk
