Scottish students invited to join Fragomen immigration school
Scottish senior pupils and university students have been invited to join Fragomen’s free online immigration school.
The 2023 UK Immigration School will give participants invaluable insights into the multi-faceted world of immigration law and related fields.
The school is held over two evenings – Tuesday 14 November, 6pm-8pm, and Tuesday 21 November, 6pm-8pm. Both events will be held online.
The first session will cover an introduction to corporate immigration, working at Fragomen and an insight into Talent Beyond Boundaries, a non-profit organisation that connects skilled refugees and displaced people with employers.
During the second session, attendees will learn about the various careers in immigration and hear from a highly experienced panel on the topic of global mobility.
Natasha Catterson, partner at Fragomen, said: “The immigration sector presents several career opportunities and the programme will provide a comprehensive overview of the options available.
“Attendees will be able to list their participation on their CV, showcasing specialist knowledge that could set them apart in future applications. The programme will equip students with a better understanding of the diverse career opportunities available to them, the application process and a compelling experience to discuss during interviews.”
