Scottish Women’s Rights Centre to celebrate first year

The Scottish Women’s Rights Centre (SWRC) is hosting a seminar and drinks reception on 22 June to celebrate its first anniversary.
The SWRC offers free legal advice, information and representation to women survivors of gender based violence. The seminar will consider lessons learned from our first year of operation and will discuss key issues in relation to unmet legal need for women survivors of gender based violence.
Speakers include SWRC solicitor Jennifer Dalziel, Dr Marsha Scott from Scottish Women’s Aid, Sandy Brindley from Rape Crisis Scotland and theLord Advocate, James Wolffe QC.
