Sir Crispin Agnew of Lochnaw Bt QC is taking part in the 50-mile Edinburgh Night Ride challenge to raise money for charity.

Sir Crispin, senior counsel at Westwater Advocates, will cycle around Edinburgh and the Forth tomorrow night to raise funds for charity Dyslexia Scotland, which is the group of advocates’ sponsored charity.

At time of writing, Sir Crispin, who has personal experience of dyslexia in his family, has already raised 99 per cent of his £1,500 fundraising target on JustGiving.

He wrote on the fundraising page: “I am proud to be cycling for this cause.

“Dyslexia Scotland works to improve awareness and attitudes towards dyslexic people at school and in the work place.

“The stigma of dyslexia continues and dyslexics struggle to have their difficulties recognised but also their talents appreciated.

“Please support my fundraising and sponsor me on what will be a challenging bike ride for me.”
