Senior solicitor appointment at Boyd Legal

Boyd Legal has appointed a senior conveyancing solicitor to its Fife branch.

Formerly managing partner at his own legal firm and conveyancing practice, Nigel Geddes brings with him more than 24 years’ experience in the industry.

He said: “After spending more than two decades as a self-employed practitioner the timing was right for me to change it up and join a team.

“I really wanted to become part of a friendly, efficient and collaborative office where the ethos is firmly on quality of service to the client and I feel I have found that at Boyd Legal.”

Mr Geddes previously ran a holiday letting business in East Neuk of Fife for a number of years further building his knowledge of the Fife property market.

Having started his career with Ian McCarry Solicitors, he moved to Milligan, Telford and Morrow before starting up his own practice: Geddes and Co. Solicitors.

After spending 10 years developing and running the firm, he made the decision to specialise in conveyancing and created NCG Solicitors, expanding his expertise in the field.
