The SLLG Committee and Advocates Library are hosting an event which will be of great interest to law librarians, legal professionals, law students and anyone with an interest in professional legal research.

On the occasion of the bicentenary of Session Cases, Lord Ericht will give a seminar presentation on his experience with the publication.

He was editor of Session Cases between 2000 and 2016, before being appointed as a judge of the Supreme Courts in May 2016.

Lord Ericht will converse with the audience touching upon various topics, including how Session Cases came to be, the importance of this 200-year-old publication, the editorial process behind it and other curiosities.

There will be a Q&A at the end of the session.
