Shepherd and Wedderburn lawyers to address Boston conference
Three lawyers from Shepherd and Wedderburn’s transatlantic disputes team are due to address over 1,000 defence lawyers and in-house counsel at the annual meeting of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) in Boston this week.
The international membership organisation of lawyers involved in the defence of civil litigation will come together from tomorrow until Sunday.
Judy Krieg, Shepherd and Wedderburn’s expert compliance, governance and financial regulation lawyer, joins the line-up of speakers this year.
Dual UK/US qualified with extensive experience working in both jurisdictions, Judy is ideally placed to join the DRI International panel, which will provide delegates with insight and practical tips on dealing with litigation, regulatory and privacy issues across jurisdictions in an increasingly globalised world.
She will be joined at the event by Shepherd and Wedderburn partners Jane Wessel and Barbara Bolton, who will be on hand to discuss and share their in-depth experience of some of the conference’s key themes. The three dual-qualified litigators head up the firm’s Transatlantic Disputes team.
Specialising in Dispute Resolution, International Arbitration and Regulation and Compliance, the team offers advice to UK and US companies and individuals involved in litigation on the other side of the Atlantic.
