Shepherd Chartered Surveyors retained by Accountant in Bankruptcy
Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has been retained by the Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) to deliver a range of chartered surveying services for a further two years.
The announcement follows a competitive tendering process.
The AiB is responsible for administering the process of personal bankruptcy and recording corporate insolvencies in Scotland.
Martin Waite, management partner at Shepherd(, said: “We are delighted to have retained this contract for two more years, having proven our ability to deliver a cost effective national service to public bodies and receiving recognition that our office network allows us to deliver a local service on a national basis.”
Katherine Morrison, head of contracts, Accountant in Bankruptcy, said: “Following a procurement exercise, AiB appointed J & E Shepherd as its sole supplier for Chartered Surveyor services for a period of two years from 1 December 2016, with an option to extend up to a further two years. AiB will manage the contract through its new Procurement and Contracts team and is keen to build on the good working relationship established throughout the tenure of the previous contract.”
