Simpson & Marwick announces key recruits in property services
Simpson & Marwick has announced that Euan Allan and Alison Grandison have joined the firm.
Mr Allan, who joins as a consultant, and Ms Grandison, who joins as an associate, arrive from Shoosmiths (formerly Archibald, Campbell & Harley).
Ms Grandison specialises in residential conveyancing. As well as acting regularly for private individuals, she works on property acquisitions for a substantial property investment company, and other smaller scale property investors.
Mr Allan’s practice is centred in the field of property law where his areas of expertise are in representing residential developers, owner managed businesses, private pension funds, banks and a wide range of private clients both in the UK and abroad in all aspects of the acquisition, leasing and disposal of property in both the residential and commercial sectors.
He said: “I expect that anyone who has even a passing interest in the property market in Edinburgh and East Lothian will be aware of the pre-eminent status of Simpson & Marwick.
“Alison and I feel that their high profile and the position that they occupy as the area’s most successful firm of solicitor/estate agents along with their reputation of having a very content, enthusiastic and forward thinking team is an ideal fit for us and our clients.”
Partner Richard Loudon added: “I have been aware for many years of the quality of legal advice that Euan and Alison give to their many loyal clients and was delighted when the opportunity arose to offer to them the added resources of our leading estate agency brand, website and reputation.”
