Simpson & Marwick announces new Associates
Four lawyers have been welcomed as Associates at Simpson & Marwick following a series of promotions intended to strengthen the firm.
Nicola Kerr, Jemma Ross, Sarah Walker and Ruth Quinn were congratulated on assuming their new positions by managing partner Gordon Keyden.
Nicola Kerr, who joined Simpson & Marwick in 2014, is described as a “diligent” and “pragmatic” family lawyer that advises on a range of issues including divorce, pre-nuptial agreements and child-related issues including residence and contact disputes and adoptions.
Jemma Ross, who joined as a trainee in 2009, handles a variety of property transactions for both individual and commercial clients. She graduated from University of Edinburgh in 2008 and completed the Diploma in Legal Practice in 2009, while also holding a French Law qualification from a year spent in Paris.
Sarah Walker, who joined the firm in 2007, has “a particular interest and expertise in defending fraudulent insurance claims” and regularly appears at Sheriff courts across Scotland, representing insurance and commercial clients, and handling a varied case load defending employer’s liability, public liability and motor claims.
Ruth Quinn specialises in disease litigation and joined Simpson & Marwick in 2014.
